Who is behind Skønhedspletter.dk?

The purpose of Skønhedspletter.dk is a preventive initiative to give children and young people greater insight into the skin’s beauty spots and their range of variations, so that when they become adults they will have ready knowledge later in life and can easily detect when beauty spots change character (Contour, Colour and Change).

Skønhedspletter.dk was created on the basis of a collaboration between the Patient Association for Melanoma and specialist in skin diseases, dr.med. PhD Monika Gniadecka.
The project would not have been possible without financial support from the Ministry of the Interior and Health, Foundation Juchum, Robert Wehnert and Kirsten Wehnert’s Foundation, and private donations.
